Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant of 2012's Fierce Five and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. Additionally, she brought home a bronze on balance beam. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to achieve the most number of medals at the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics saw her win gold in the team event. This earned her and Gabby the distinction of being the first Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the floor-based individual and all-around competitions. Between her two Olympic Games the athlete took a break. She also was among the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. Her most favorite sport is flooring exercise. Gymnastics was her first sport she began to learn when she was two years old. Aly works with her organization, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization in memory and honor of her mother. As for the future, she plans to make a career out of fashion. She would also like to extend her leotards line and her socks. She is writing a book entitled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
